Beyond the Lens
My work extends past photography—I'm passionate about mental health, education, and creating spaces for healing and growth. This page highlights the projects and roles that reflect my purpose and the communities I serve.
Mental Health Peer Advocate – Collegiate Recovery Program
As a peer advocate, I support students who are navigating recovery and mental health while balancing college life. Through workshops, campus events, and more, I work to break down stigma and create a culture of care. My goal is to make sure no one feels alone in their healing process, and to encourage honest conversations around wellness and support.

Teach for America (Starting Fall 2025)
This upcoming chapter in my journey will allow me to step into the classroom and serve as an educator through Teach for America. I’m excited to work directly with students—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds—and provide them with not only knowledge but empowerment. My goal is to teach with empathy, creativity, and cultural understanding, while creating learning spaces that reflect the brilliance and potential of every child.

Faith-Based Service & Speaking
Rooted in my faith, my service work has taken many forms—from mentoring youth to speaking in detention centers and churches. While in college, I’ve also been invited to speak on panels about leadership, healing, and student success. As an Aggie Success Leader at North Carolina A&T, I guided incoming students and helped them navigate the challenges of their first year. Whether I'm sharing scripture, testimony, or life lessons, my goal is to uplift and empower others to walk in purpose, build community, and believe in their own growth.

Giving Lens, Giving Thanks
I offered free professional headshots to college students while encouraging donations. All contributions helped provide holiday meals and essential items to unhoused individuals across Greensboro. This event combined my photography skills with my passion for giving back and supporting those in need.
